Built in the 1870's, and one of the first doctor's surgeries in Akaroa, it is now established in beautiful, mature gardens. La Belle Villa is a special place to stay.
Stay and enjoy the indoor/outdoor living, private garden retreats, trickling stream, open fireplace in our comfortable guest lounge, espresso coffee and memorable breakfasts.
Situated im central Akaroa, restaurants, cafés, visitor excursions and the beach are all within walking distance. Also there is a golf course just 10 minutes away.

Your Hosts
La Belle Villa hosts are Paul and Alice Hewitson, recently moved to Akaroa from another great South Island destination, Timaru. We enjoy the beautiful land and seascapes of this area, as well as the abundant bird and plant life, historic ambience, and relaxing restaurants, cafés, gardens and walks.
We also enjoy travel and like to learn about other people's homes and lifestyles. We are happy to help with information and travel/holiday planning.
